PATHS Meeting Minutes

AHS/AMS Cafeteria

Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 5:30pm in the AM/HS Cafeteria

 Gail Belless, Stacy Nagel, Debby Jo Metsker, and Logan Boydston were in attendance.

 Discussion -        

-        a family movie night

-        Gail will contact the schools and Toby about prospective dates

-        Rent the inflatable screen from Dechow’s

-        The movie, popcorn, and water would be free

-        Give out prizes throughout the night

-        It would be on a Friday night from 6-9pm

 Possible Prizes –

-        Movie rentals from Abingdon Video

-        Gift certificates from Subway

-        Gift certificates from Hardees

-        Gift certificates from LaRoma’s

-        Gift certificates from Quinn’s

-        Gift certificates from Casey’s

-        Gift certificates from Abbe Lanes

-        Gift certificates from Dollar General

 Next Year –

-        Contact Tami Roskamp about funds for AMS playground and equipment.

First informational meeting would take place during open house 

• 1.     The group put together the fundraiser information.

• 2.    Decided that for every 4 items sold, the student’s name will be put into a drawing for a $10.00 debit card or movie certificate.  There will be two winners from each class, and the first student drawn gets their choice of the two prizes.

• 3.    The top item seller for each class will get a $50.00 gift or debit card.

• 4.    Students will receive a Quinn’s corner certificate for a free cone for selling at least one item.

• 5.    The class that sells the most gets a pizza party, but students must sell at least one item to be able to participate in the class pizza party.

• 6.    Fundraiser kick-off is Wednesday, November 26 at 1:30 in the auditorium, and the pick-up day is Monday, December 15 after school.

• 7.    Movie night will start in January.

• 8.    The next meeting is Wednesday, December 10 at 5:00 pm in the AHS/AMS cafeteria.
